Research/Communications Assistant 

Details of duties

The Communications Assistant reports directly to the Head of Research who reports to the Head of Operations. Their role is predominantly to assist in finding leads and qualifying leads, and supporting public relation campaigns the business is working on including promoting the image and understanding of a politician, organisation or charity, raising awareness of single issues, and promoting products and services. 

Strong knowledge and understanding of the UK political system are desired and an interest in political systems across the world. 

Tasks include:

  • Research
  • Social media monitoring 
  • Online content creation
  • Sales Engagement 
  • Media monitoring
  • Opposition and competitor analysis
  • Writing articles, blogs, reports, and press releases
  • Online data analysis 
  • Client liaison 
  • Event planning
  • Placement of social media advertisements
  • Writing blog posts and pitch preparations
